Since 1998 I have been requesting flicks from every Reconner I have come across
for the purpose of putting them on a site in order to compile a pictorial history of 1st
Recon Bn. In that time I have accumulated over 4000 flicks mostly from the Vietnam
and Iraqi Freedom eras. Flicks of the intervening eras are virtually non existent and I
would greatly appreciate men from those eras sending me their frozen in time moments
for publication on this site.

    Throughout the last six years I have had numerous computer foul ups with the
result being having to use recovery software to recover all the flicks I could off my
hard drive. The flicks recovered did not have the file name associated with them
so who sent them, time period, and where taken is unknown on most of them. If you
recognize flicks you have sent let me know and I will rename them.

    If you would like to have your flicks posted on this site please do not email them to
me. I receive a tremendous amount of email traffic a day so sending flicks will choke
my mail box . To send flicks contact me first then:

1.   If you have an ftp client I will create a folder on my server with your name and
you can upload the flicks into the folder. If you need one I can suggest a free client.

2.   Go to Dropload.com and register for a free account. All that is needed is your email
address and a password. A message will be sent notifying me there is a file waiting for
me and I have 48 hours to retrieve it.

3.   Have your flicks put on CD then send it snail mail.
